    Rocky Point State Park

    ROCKY POINT GOLF COURSE

  • Baltimore Beltway (I-695) to Exit 36 for Route 702 South
  • Proceed south on Rt. 702 and continue until it merges with Back River Neck Road
  • Stay on Back River Neck Road until you get to Rocky Pt Golf Course
  • Follow signs to Ballestone Manor - Ballestone Manor will be
    on your right once you turn into Rocky Pt. Golf course.
  • Once past the Manor follow the gravel path / road to your right out to the water.

    There are two launch sites, one at the point that is rocky and one down a steep bank that is sandy. The best winds for this site are West, NW, or WNW. The iWindsurf sensor is located at Hart Miller Island.

  • Baltimore Beltway (I-695) to Exit 36 for Route 702 South
  • Proceed south on Rt. 702 and continue with its merge with Back River Neck Road
  • Stay on Back River Neck Road for 2.3 miles then make left onto Barrison Point Road
  • Make right onto Rocky Point road and drive until you enter the park
  • Parking is on your right and it's a short walk (not like the Gunpowder)
