So much windsurfing, so little blogging. \u00a0REALLY????? \u00a02015 has\u00a0been a pretty good year so far!<\/p>\n
We had a lovely day to eat and drink with BABA friends back in March at the BABA Season Kick-Off Party. \u00a0Thank you to Ann & Mike<\/strong> for hosting! \u00a0The Pat Pugh Award (for supreme volunteerism) was awarded to Coby Leyden<\/strong> for his dedication to running our Hatteras trips. \u00a0Thank you to East of Maui<\/strong> <\/a>for co-sponsoring the award.<\/p>\n I’d also like to thank all the volunteers who have put time and effort into running our club throughout the year, and to those who step up when asked to help with specific projects:<\/p>\n Dave Iseri, Vice Chair and Sponsorship Coordinator And our Members at Large who serve in many ways: We voted on our slate of officers and steering committee members and we\u00a0welcomed Amber Kasbeer as a new Member at Large.<\/p>\n Thank you to Jeff and Darlene Forte for bringing Something Special to Mayo for our ECC Regatta – a good sized boat is critical to holding a serious race event! \u00a0And Thank you also to everyone who volunteers to help with tasks large and small during our Hatteras Trips. \u00a0Coby handles many many details, but he can’t do it all, and having volunteers take on responsibilities during the trips is critical to their continued success.<\/p>\n Mark Storch won drawing for the complimentary ABK\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>clinic – can’t wait to hear about his progress.<\/p>\n No photos were taken, but I can assure you that we had a great spread of food, the weather was wonderful and we had lots of goodies from our generous sponsors<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" So much windsurfing, so little blogging. \u00a0REALLY????? \u00a02015 has\u00a0been a pretty good year so far!
